Known as the West Virginia Batman, John Buckman is a motivational speaker who goes around the United States raising awareness that anyone, both children and adults, can also be heroes. His age appropriate messages teach about abstaining from drugs/alcohol, not being a bully, and being kind to others. Mr. Buckman also owns a street-legal Batmobile (aka Hopemobile), which you can see in the picture below on the right. Mr. Buckman loves to visit seriously ill patients (especially children).
If you would like Heroes 4 Higher (and his Batmobile) to come to your community, birthday party, hospital, school, etc., he would love to hear from you. You can visit either his FaceBook page or his website listed above for more information. I highly recommend him.
At the present time, Heroes 4 Higher is trying to raise money to help keep this program going. If you would like more information on how you can help Heroes 4 Higher going, please visit Save H4H today, which will explain how you can help. There is no cost to you, just your time.
I met Mr. Buckman on March 11, 2016, at the Lexington Comic Book & Toy Convention. The pictures below are of him talking with my grandson, Gunner (who was 3 years old at the time), via FaceTime. Pictures courtesy of Catskillz Photog.
