As parents of someone who is going through recovery for drug
addiction, we wanted to share the information we are
learning from our experiences. Most of the Articles found below
were from "hand-outs"received at the therapy
sessions we attended.
If you or someone you love is going through any type of addiction,
I so encourage you or your loved one to seek help. It is our
hope that you will find something here that will either encourage
you or help you find that specific information you and/or your
family needs.
The first step in recovery is for that person to
acknowledge he/she has a problem. Recovery from any type of
addiction has to be voluntary on the part of the person with the
addiction. If your loved one does seek help for his/her
addiction, I encourage you get into one of the programs designed
for the families.
